Last Tango in Paris vs. Eugenie

Eugenie is fairly tame, considering the title. It has a cool lounge soundtrack and a attractive visual style, but the actual "perversion" part is sort of silly. Last Tango in Paris is probably more perverted, if you actually did an inventory. The focus of both films is a young girl who spends both of the movie unclothed. I guess they're both about exploring dark desires, too. Last Tango probably gets on my nerves more, because I don't find the Brando character sympathetic at all. Maybe if it was just Maria Schneider basking in the pretty cinematography without Brando I'd enjoy it more.
