Can't believe there hasn't been more discussion on this. Two movies where Denzel deviated from his good-guy norm. I thought he was great in both. I think these two movies are near-equals. If I had to choose, I'd probably go with Training Day. The ending... Denzel put on the performance of his life!
I'll go Training Day, though both were solid...

I love training day very epic and lonely day city feeling in the movie but i think American Gangster wins

American Gangster is great because the gangster deeply history, but training day really impressed me with Alonzo Harris
