Close one. Both were messy. But Vice felt such like a necessary mess. It brings up a few things that shouldn't be forgotten. Bale and Adams were brilliant. Although its tone is completely inconsistent, I still thought it had some clever gags. I think this movie would've been way better had it focused more on developing Dick Cheney as a person rather than just having him as a target. Not worthy a best picture nomination, but still better than an overrated average superhero mess.
