Tiebreaker go to Watchmen- BEST opening credits EVER
I like The Fugitive, and it's a decent way to pass an afternoon, but comparing it to Watchmen makes it seem kind of bland. I don't think Watchmen is a great movie, but it's so loaded with visual stimulation and violence and T&A that it makes for a much more diverting spectacle than The Fugitive. I don't even care whether Watchmen succeeds at achieving its philosophical ambitions in this case because it's just so much more impressive to behold than The Fugitive. Hell, I'll even admit that The Fugitive's story is told better, and that there's really nothing particularly wrong with it. But the Watchmen is still more enjoyable despite its shortcomings because there's just so much packed into it.

The Fugitive is so much fun to watch. I like it more than Watchmen.
The Fugitive simply smacks around Watchmen. It's no contest...
