Wow, one of the best Trek films against one of the worst. While I don't think The Wrath of Khan is quite the best, or Nemesis quite the worst, they're close enough to those extremes to make this one an easy pick.
I totally agree. Nemesis was a disappointing farewell for the TNG crew, but still better than some films with the original crew. Wrath of Khan, however, is simply amazing and the second best Star Trek movie after First Contact.
I go back and forth between whether Khan or First Contact is better, but I agree as well. Nemesis had a bunch of pieces that could have worked, but they just didn't come together. Somehow, I think the combination of a writer who was a major Trekkie and a director who knew absolutely nothing about the franchise just killed it.
