The Mask of Fu Manchu vs. The Letter

It's a pre-World-War-II Orientalism double feature (ugh). The Mask of Fu Manchu rightly deserves 21st century criticism, but it's also an entertaining bit of 1930s pulp fiction (as long as you know what you're getting). The Letter on the other hand is lazier about its prejudices (against both women and Asians), and it's also boring towards the end. Plus, I never for a second believed Massacussets' own Bette Davis' fakey fake British accent.
