Not a star trek fan, and both of these movies were the same to me.

Generations has an awkwardly introduced William Shatner cameo. First Contact has the Borg. First Contact wins.

First Contact was a huge improvement over Generations. And it is, unfortunately, the only really good Next Generation film.
