Both are superb films about racism, but AMX is slightly superior.

My vote is with Do the Right Thing, as it's a tad more ambiguous. Great match-up though...
I'm going to change my pick to Do the Right Thing. A more preferable interpretation of racism for me.

Both well-beloved movies dealing with racism that I found underwhelming, sadly. I would want to watch Do the Right Thing more than American History X.
