Battle of the third installments. Both are very strong. There are really only 2 great Die Hard movies and this is one of them. The last 3 Missions are fantastic. Vengeance wins this.
Really tough but I think Die Hard wins it.

Die Hard's only decent sequel VS a nice rebound for Mission Impossible after the awful second film. I vote MI3.
Both are my second favorite films of their respective franchise. That being said, despite how much I like Mission: Impossible III, Die Hard With a Vengeance easily takes this.

Philip Seymour Hoffman was the best thing about MI3. The rest of the movie was... okay, I guess? DH3, on the other hand, while not my favorite sequel of the series (I was always about DH2, personally), felt like it had a lot more going for it. Make mine DH3.
