Wow, 2 masterpieces of subtle suspense, great soundtracks, masterful direction and kicked off entire subgenres for decades... Carpenter just sneaks past the post for me.

Classics of the horror, in fact, probably the 2 best of the genre. Has to be Jaws! Come on.... it's Jaws!

The original Halloween is my favorite of the bunch but it can't beat the original Jaws.

God damn it! I hate this hacker crap.
That's a tough one, the music alone is competitive. Hell I went to Mexico a week after watching jaws and it really had me thinking every time I was in the water. Not that many movies effect me like that.....JAWS WINS!! Halloween was so good though, talk about a hard pick.
