I like A Christmas Story, but actually My Man Godfrey is the movie I grew up on out of these two. Nostalgia point against Christmas Story.

It's not bad or anything, but I found My Man Godfrey to be thoroughly unmemorable (though I should give it another viewing someday). Meanwhile, A Christmas Story is one of my all-time favorite movies. Easy choice.
