Yin vs. Yang...Two vastly different movies that could broadly be cast as action movies, that were highly influential within their respective sub-genre's and made around the same time. If you love martial arts movies, particularly wuxia, or enjoy artful and/or foreign films then you should definitely see Zen, if you haven't. If violent action or western films are your thing then you have to see the Wild Bunch, if you haven't. I could probably write a paper on all the dualities of these two movies and how splendidly they reflect the duality of human nature and the dualities I love in movies, but for now....yang wins, in the form of The Wild Bunch. I might meditate on it though. ;)
