Donkey Skin is pretty messed up if you think about it, though the presentation is bright and sunny. I think I like it mostly for how warped it is under the surface. Otherwise its kind of bland. The Man with the Golden Gun is one of my least favorite of the Bond films. I like it more than I used to, which isn't saying much. I guess Donkey Skin is overall less annoying. Catherine Deneuve wearing a donkey carcass isn't as appealing as Britt Ekland in a bikini, but Golden Gun has J. W. Pepper. That's unforgivable.
