Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World vs. Cold Mountain

Hmm, a couple of ambitious (i.e. Oscar bait) films from 2003. While Cold Mountain isn't nearly the epic it wants to be, it's a decent movie with some good performances. I'm still going with Russell Crowe, though.

I surprisingly enjoy Cold Mountain...but Master and Commander is the real deal. Both are solid, but I agree with Caesar...

I'm a third vote for Crowe. However I actually do enjoy both movies.
