#6 versus #7 for me. I'm very close to picking Apocalypse Now, but it might take another rewatch for me to do that. Bertolucci's film wins.
I'd sooner have Frederic Forrest's severed head dropped in my lap than watch The Conformist again. Apocalypse Now rules.

Two great films about men working deep state for their respective governments, but losing their soul along the way. Bertolucci and Coppola are masters of camerawork, and all-star cinematography is on display throughout. In the end, I'll take Apocalypse Now, but they both remain cemented in the pantheon of great existential classics.
