These are both movies about people who leads lives of moral ambiguity. Deadpool, however, only does so on the surface, since he probably is a decent fellow at heart. In Sicario, arguably the "hero" is an assassin who is looking for payback. Emily Blunt's character, though on the up and up, gets lost in the shuffle. I guess Deadpool is somewhere between Blunt and Benicio Del Toro's characters. And he has the more entertaining movie.
