Halloween vs. The Killing of a Sacred Deer

My #1 2018 movie vs. My #1 2017 movie. Halloween probably just take this year's crown because I'm a fanboy. I mean, it was REALLY GREAT to watch a good Halloween movie in the big screen. But it had its flaws. Generic characters except for Laurie (and Michael?), pointless moments no one give a shit about, such as that loud light-flashing party. Killing was a masterpiece that still was on my mind for days. It's perfect from start till the end, and there's no pointless moments whatsoever. Sacred Deer over Michael Myers here.
