Insomnia vs. Batman Begins

No comments? Hm. I've got Insomnia.

Insomnia is the better movie, i like begins but it's to flawed compared to Insomnia and doesn't have as good performances in it

...And this is the first match-up for ranking Insomnia? Nice. Anyway, after seeing Insomnia, I still maintain that Batman Begins is Christopher Nolan's weakest movie. The action is poorly filmed, the gas subplot is stupid, some of the special effects are pretty dated and some of the dialogue is painfully cheesy ("Nice Coat" "Didn't you get the memo?" "I've got to get me one of those"). It's not nearly as good as The Dark Knight and Rises, which also have flaws (some subplots, the "sonar" and the ending in The Dark Knight, the sloppyness and Bane's voice in Rises), but those aren't as annoying as the flaws of Begins imho. But even Christopher Nolan's weakest effort is still a mildly amusing and pretty entertaining flick. As for Insomnia, I just watched it: I liked it. It's a decent and pretty interesting thriller. It has some poorly filmed action too, but since it's not an action movie and there’s not a lot of action anyway it isn't that big of a deal as in Batman Begins. Insomnia starts out a little rough and boring, but once it gets going it does become interesting. I don’t think it’s one of Nolan’s best, but I did like it better than Begins. Insomnia gets my vote.

Insomnia is great, but Begins is far better.

Begins is much better. With Batman, Nolan reinvented the comic book adaptation, with Insomnia he didn't really make any impact. The superhero flick also has more heart and emotion.

Christopher Nolan is amazing

Just garbage. Insomnia is one of the worst films I have ever seen.
