Tough call...I'll say Flight of the Phoenix.

Flight of the Phoenix is ok, but I'm sure it's nothing compared to the original (bearing in mind I haven't seen the original). Cast Away wins in a landslide.
I hate FedEx. So seeing a FedEx employee becoming stranded on an island is always a plus.

Cast Away is brilliantly acted by Hanks its a wonderful film Phoenix was decent enough but not in the same league as Cast Away!
If it was Jimmy Stewart's original film it would be close but Cast Away destroys this remake.
