Two absolutely amazing ultra-violent films. For those of you who've yet to see [REC] - and I suspect that there are many - do yourself a huge favor and Netflix it ASAP. It's absolutely astonishing and perhaps the best horror film of the last ten years. It's subtitled, but don't let that be a deterrent. The movie is modern in every way and builds momentum like few films I've ever watched. The final 5 minutes are staggeringly terrifying, as well.
