Peter Pan vs. Hook

Fun match-up. Gotta go with the original though.

Dustin Hoffman is Hook. Love the live-action version.

The Older version.

Disney's Peter Pan captures the magic of the book and brings the characters to life in the way they were meant to be seen. Hook was a bold attempt at greatness, but I think it falls short of doing what it set out to do. Spielberg's Never Never Land lacks enchantment.

Peter Pan is not one of the greatest Disney movies, but it's far better than the usually tedious Hook.

Hook tries hard, but it's ultimately too long and too juvenile. Peter Pan isn't a masterpiece, but it's undeniably enjoyable and several steps ahead of Hook.

I'm going with Peter Pan (1953)

Hook is a good continuation of the story but of course the original story is better.
