HEY THERE, I AN LEGEND IS A REMAKE OF THE OMEGA MAN. There are no zombie men in The Omega Man. Just hippies in white makeup. I dunno, both movies have problems. Charlton Heston is on fire, and by on fire I mean acting like a maniac and having extended monologues directed at a mannequin in his apartment. Will Smith talks to his dog, I think. That's less fun. But Omega Man is also less action packed. I think I remember the ending of I Am Legend is bullshit though. Omega Man wins, but ask me tomorrow and I'll say the opposite.

I'd say that I Am Legend is a moderately better film then The Omega Man, but, considering the time that it was made and the restrictions in SFX that existed then "Omega" is a more impressive accomplishment.

The Omega Man easily. It's at least some fun to watch. I Am Legend waaaaay sucked. Both are behind The Last Man on Earth though.
