Tough one! I was really engaged by "Summer Hours"'s thesis about the nature of inheritance, but "The Spy Who Came In from the Cold" is a nearly flawless adaptation of a masterpiece of spy literature. This moment, I'm going with "Summer Hours," if only because I enjoyed le Carre's novel slightly more than its adaptation.

712 days, 7 hours ago, I picked SUIMMER HOURS on the basis that I enjoyed le Carré's novel just a bit more than its adaptation. It's still hard for me to pick here, but that reasoning still seems sound to me.
