Cool list man! You have great taste. We have quite a few movies in common.

I see you are a Nolan fan. There isn't much he's made that I don't like as you can see. I flip flop between Prestige and Memento being my favorite. I don't see many people with Field of Dreams up near the top. That is a sentimental one for me. Always near the top.

Yeah, Nolan was the first filmmaker that I got into where I had to see every film he's made. Memento and The Prestige are great. Both blew me away the first time I saw them.

It's cool to find someone else with Field of Dreams high up on their list. That's been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Like you said it's a sentimental one for me as well. Just the story and music and everything just makes it special. Have you read the book "Shoeless Joe" that the film is based off of?

I noticed Miracle is highly ranked for you. That's another one of my favorites. Such a great film.

I was born in 84 so Kevin Costner was huge when I was growing up so Field of Dreams is always great, Robin Hood, even liked Water World. Yea Miracle is my favorite sports movie.

Thanks, Saving Private Ryan has sentimental value to me because in basic our CC's showed us the very first scene to help us understand dedication the country and so on and every recruit was teared up just from that once scene. Shining is simply great film making, ahead of its time. I notice you have Beyond the Pines in your top 10 which is one I haven't seen. I will have to check it out, the trailer looked really good.

It's probably my favorite genre if done right. Just watched Interstellar recently speaking of which. I've never been so confused on how to rate a movie. I gave it three different ratings on it's page. Yea the Shining is where my horror bar is set.

Finally, someone with Apollo 13 in their top 10! It's been a while since I've seen that.

That's what I noticed about your list as well. That movie is perfect in my opinion. It pulls at my heart strings every time I see it. Doesn't hurt that Hanks is in it, who I would argue might be the best actor of this generation. Also like District 9 in the top 10 as well.
