Weekend Preview: Feb 13, 2015 – Kingsman, Fifty Shades of Grey, & More
Kingsman: The Secret Service
Oscar winner Colin Firth as an action hero? What sort of genius is this? Kingsman is yet another comic book adaptation, this one based on The Secret Service by Mark Millar (Kick-Ass) and Dave Gibbons (Watchmen). Newcomer Taron Egerton looks to make a splash as “Eggsy” Unwin, a young man recruited by a veteran secret agent (Firth). Looking to steal the show is Samuel L. Jackson as the potentially ridiculous (and ridiculously awesome) villain, Mr. Valentine. The supporting cast includes the likes of Mark Strong, Mark Hamill and Michael Caine.
