One of my personal favorites. It has a great lead actor in Dick Powell and one of the all-time great writer/directors in Preston Sturges. It’s an incredibly silly movie but there’s a speech about 3/4 of the way through the movie that’s midnd-blowing, one of the best monologues you’ll ever hear just comes out of nowhere.
