New In Theaters: July 16, 2010
Wide Releases:
I’ve read a slew of reviews and still have no idea what this flick is actually about. This definitely seems like the kind of movie that will take at least 3 viewings before being properly “Flickcharted.”

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice – (Trailer)
I’ve been on a Nicolas Cage marathon as of late. Say what you will about him but I don’t recall ever being bored watching one of the movies he’s been a part of. Is there another actor on Earth who could pull off his character in Wild at Heart? I say “No.” I’ve been really excited for this movie all summer but early reviews have not been kind, so now the 4-month wait for the Blu-ray begins.

Limited Releases of Note:
Operation: Endgame – (Trailer)
I’m not going to lie, Inception looks great and Nic Cage is probably my favorite living actor but if I owned a private movie theater that could screen one new movie a week, Operation: Endgame would be this week’s chosen one. That’s far too interesting a cast and concept to miss.
