James Cameron Delays AVATAR 2 To Release in 2017
Well, it looks like making three back-to-back movies with the bleeding edge of movie magic is going to force director James Cameron to push back the release of the first Avatar sequel to late 2017.
Speaking about the delay, Cameron had this to say:
“There’s a layer of complexity in getting the story to work as a saga across three films that you don’t get when you’re making a stand-alone film.”
“We’re writing three simultaneously. And we’ve done that so that everything tracks throughout the three films. We’re not just going to do one and then make up another one and another one after that,” he said. “And parallel with that, we’re doing all the design. So we’ve designed all the creatures and the environments.”

With @20thcenturyfox dating their December 2016 releases last week Avatar missing it was obvious it must be delayed to 2017
Dislike. I’m one of the seemily few that were actually really looking forward to going back to Pandora.
Eight years after the original. Will the general public remember?
