Hello my friend
Alright I'm just starting to get into this social thing so I just want to ask what's you're favorite film of 2017 so far. Mine is Get Out. Hope that I can meet more people.
Believe it or not, but I forgot that I saw Baby Driver, which is surprising. Anyway Baby Driver is my favorite film of the year so far.

Hey. Welcome to Flickchart. My favorite of 2017 is Dunkirk.
That's a good choice
Anyone have any good horror movies to watch. That's my favorite subject and I actually haven't seen that many.
Quick question. How do you make a thumbnail for your avatar/account. I've been seeing users with picture from different movies as their thumbnail and I want to do that.
Click on 'edit your profile' option located just above your 10 favorite films, then click on 'UPLOAD IMAGE'. You're good to go!
How do I get an image?
Find an image you'd like as your thumbnail, then save said image on your computer/laptop using the 'save as' option. Finally, follow the steps I've mentioned above to get an avatar of your choice.
I've heard great things about Whiplash and look very much forward to watching it. I can tell you're a big fan of Damien Chazelle :)
Well what gives you that idea?
Just an educated guess based on your top 2 films.
I'm also a fan of Edgar Wright

Have you seen La La Land yet?
PiccoloKing on 8/7/2017 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
Not yet.
Alright so I changed my profile picture from a default man to the stranger things logo. Thoughts?
Maybe I could change it to Shawshank?
Can't believe you haven't seen anything by Stanley Kubrick. Highly recommend him to an intellectual viewer like yourself.
Thanks. I watched the first scene of Full Metal Jacket but my mom turned it off for being too vulgar, but maybe I'll watch since it's on Netflix. I'm also planning to watch The Shining on Netflix before It comes out.
So I just finished watching Stand by Me and it's one of the best feel-good films I've seen. Right next to Ferris Bueller's Day Off

So I just finished watching Pan's Labyrinth and it was really good. I didn't expect to be so much violence though, I'm okay with violence though but i would not recommend this movie to the squeamish

So I want someone to just comment anything. Reason being I just liking talking to people on this website. Just comment any movies that you would recommend what you're going to see in theater. Just anything.
So I'm probably seeing the Glass Castle tomorrow. Hope it's good

Funny story:I didn't get to see the Glass Castle for my grandmother's birthday, but I did see Dunkirk. The reason this is funny is because that was the third time I've seen Dunkirk. Luckily I still enjoyed it even though I did have some of the tension taken out

I see you've ranked Inception ahead of Memento and The Dark Knight. What do you think makes it your favorite Nolan flick?
amnotmad on 8/23/2017 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
Upon thinking about it, I think Memento might be my favorite Nolan film just because of the way its told, I love Inception because just like Memento, it makes you think. As for the Dark Knight, I feel like the only reason I have it in my top 20 is because of Heath Ledger, but all the rest of the movie is good too

I really miss IMDB. It used to be the ultimate movie website. Letterboxd has nothing on it.

I've never heard of that but just by first glance, it looms better than IMDB
Well actually I do know what to think
*dont

I will say this about Letterboxd, the comments are hilarious. There was a 5-star review for Cat in the Hat, my most despised movie, that compliments things that are surprisingly true. And there's one for Under the Skin, a movie I haven't seen, that's really funny.

Letterboxd is like the Facebook of movie websites.

I feel bad that I haven't seen Psycho, but than again it hasn't been a full year in my teens yet.
But than again you haven't seen Back to the Future which I highly recommend for a man's taste in film like your's
PiccoloKing on 9/8/2017 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
Full Disclosure: I had Scream in mind with that line, though I know it was referencing Psycho.
I've put off Back to the Future for so long 'cause it seems like one of those kiddish family entertainment comedies, the kind Spielberg was making in the 80s. Its concept does not appeal to me either... I mean, going back in time to set your parents up as lovers sounds like something outta that lame animated show "Time Squad." Would you still recommend it?
amnotmad on 9/8/2017 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
Well it's in my top 20 so yeah

I'm not into musicals. Will I like Whiplash and La La Wonderland?

Quick question, do you'll think I should add Black Mirror episodes on here? I'm thinking about doing this because 1. I'm stoked for season four, 2. all episodes are submitted on letterbox as if they were their own TV movie (even though the entire Breaking Bad series is submitted there as well), and 3. Netflix submits Black Mirror episodes as TV movies, for example: San Junipero won two Emmys for best TV movie and best writing for a TV movies, and Bryce Dallas Howard was nominated for a SAG award for Nosedive. Anyway, please tell me your thoughts.
