"Sharon Tate is the emotional center of the film. The film begins with the needledrop "Treat her Right", which fits the overall theme of the movie. The film isn’t preoccupied with her status as a murder victim. It’s interested in her life, her career, and the infectious joy she conjured for those around her, especially in the Bruin scene. Sharon is at the beginning of her career while Rick & Cliff are at the end of their careers & the film shows heartbreaking it is when it ends: In Sharon' case literally whereas in Rick & Cliff's case emotionally. I do suggest you rewatch the film, I think this is Tarantino's most emotional, complex & mature work."
