*Just starting out, and yes, my taste is terrible. That's why it's called taste, not fact*

Also I rate movies through pure favoritism, which is why Endgame is at the top for me, as it's my favorite film, but it's definitely not one of the best-quality films.

Thanks! I'm still not nearly done (I have seen 300 films and only added like 50), but nice to see that someone already likes my top 10/20 or something :)

Out of the few films I've seen (and knowing reception of films I haven't seen), I really like it! I have only seen clips of Pulp Fiction (and loved each one) but plan to see it soon. Sadly never seen the Godfather duo, but I'm excited to eventually. Can't complain about the other films you have there, though I sadly haven't seen a lot of them heh

The Godfather duo definitely lives up to the hype, IMO. I see you like Goodfellas, so you will definitely love The Godfather duo. And if you like Kill Bill, Django Unchained, and Inglorious Bastards, then you will definitely love Pulp Fiction. And Speaking of Kill Bill, Uma Thurman is my favorite actress of all time, which is the main reason why both Kill Bill's are in my top 10 if you were wondering lol. She is also amazing in Pulp Fiction.

I literally saw Pulp Fiction yesterday, and you're right; I did love it. I personally think Inglourious Basterds is Tarintino's best, but Pulp Fiction is an easy second (and in my top 20). Uma Thurman was definitely amazing in Pulp Fiction; my favorite scenes were with her and Vincent.

Yeah she's great. Now that you have seen Pulp Fiction, you should now watch Reservoir Dogs if you haven't already. It's a great setup movie for Pulp Fiction, though way shorter.

I just watched The Godfather duo (I'll rank Part 2 later), and it definitely lives up to the hype. Personally, I prefer the first one, as it's more entertaining and every scene feels necessary (and it slightly exceeded my high expectations), but the second one is almost as great (just met my expectations), as it was more thematically rich and possibly the greatest cinematic tragedy every told. I'd probably rank Part 2 at like my #9-#14, but it's still amazing. I'll definitely see both again in the future.

Awesome. I have Part 1 ahead of Part 2 as well, but it's so close between them.

Thanks a lot! Out of the few films I've seen in your top 20, I really like it! Sure, they aren't all in my top 20 (like Batman Begins or Holy Grail), but they are very solid films.

I've only recently seen The Godfather duo, and I loved it, even though I slightly prefer the first over the second (just curious, why do you prefer the second over the first, albeit barely?). Also, I plan to see the third very soon.

Nice! I've loved The Godfather films for a while now. I thought the second film dived deeper into the characters and asked bigger questions. It's hard to say why, but it felt more resonate with me as a whole. The first is just a well done mob movie in my eyes, though it's the first of its kind. It made you root for the Corleones. The second showed you how bad they really were. I do love both though and they are inseparable in my eyes.

The third is actually pretty solid. It's not anywhere near the first two but as far as sequels so it's good. Unlike The Dark Knight Rises it mostly avoids major plot holes and is decent all around. Definitely disappointing, but not bad at all and most certainly worth watching. The new Coda version is basically a new interpretation of the themes. Some like it better, some don't. It's pretty much the same movie though.

I see you've seen GF3! I really like it, mainly because of nostalgia of watching the saga as a teen, but I admit it is a bad film.

I wouldn't say it's BAD more just a meh film. I mean yeah it pales in comparison to the Godfather duo, but it's still somewhat decently made; I mean it's still made by Coppola with some of the same actors and same parts of every Godfather film (big ceremony in beginning, bloody climax, issues drawing out throughout the film), but it definitely didn't deliver very well on all its accounts.
