Yeah, I love it!! Rick Moranis is surprising good and the music is really catchy. It's hilarious. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but I obviously loved it because it is in my top 10. You should see it, it's awesome. :)

Thanks for the request. You have pretty good taste as well! I highly suggest On The Waterfront, obviously, it's my fav. I would suggest Big Fish too. I've been thinking about moving it further up the list. Not sure if you're a Tim Burton fan, but I think that's his best.

Did you like The Way? I've been meaning to check it out for quite some time now.

What's your favourite place you've travelled to? :) Thanks. I will make sure to check out The Way at some point.
I've got the travel bug the last few years. I am checking out my own country, which is Australia, before I consider going overseas. Plus I'm tall, so long flights don't sound very appealing to me. I have been to all the capital cities in Australia, except for Tasmania. It's quite expensive to get there. Anyway, I'm going on some road trips this year. In June, i will fly to Sydney (been there twice), then drive to Brisbane (twice), stopping along the way. Then in September, I will fly to Sydney again, then drive to Melbourne (twice). Should be fun, plus it breaks up work into sections. :) I can't think of any traveling movies off the top of my head except Into the Wild. I assume you've seen that? I will get back to you if I think of some. :)
My cousin lives in Sydney. She's actually the reason I started travelling. She had two plays, one in Brisbane that she wrote, and one in Sydney, which she starred in, and wrote. So, I took three weeks off work, and went and enjoyed them, and the sights. :) I was in Darwin last year for my second time. There's a lot to see around Darwin. I was amazed my the size of the termite mounds! Damn! :D Cool. I will add it to my list. Thanks. :)
Have you heard of the Aussie movie Tracks? I haven't seen it yet, but I thought I'd just put it on your radar. :)

I don't think they would be the size I'm talking about if they're hanging off trees. The mounds in Darwin I'm talking about are about eight to ten metres in height if I had to guess. Too bad I can't tell you if Tracks is good. But I thought I'd just let you know. Especially considering it's a true story.

I watched The Way, and absolutely loved it. Have you been in that area?
MaritimeAviator on 3/9/2014 Reply · Like · (1 like)
Right on! I'm happy you liked it. I have not been in that area, but I really love hiking and I'm hoping to someday head that way.

I recently watched Top Hat. What did you think? :)

Well, unfortunately, an annoyance of mine is confusion of identity in films. I just find it intolerable. I thought Cheek to Cheek would cheer me up, as it's great moment in The Green Mile, but I felt like the song was tarnished by Rogers disliking him in that scene. I really wish I liked it as much as you did.
I'm going to give Swing Time a go soon. :)

Yeah, I like your list as well. In fact, I'm just ecstatic that I found someone who appreciates On the Waterfront as much as I do. It's my favorite Brando film. Yes, I like Waterfront more than Godfather. And Lee J. Cobb was tremendous. He almost stole the show from Brando. And then there's Karl Malden... oh, and Eva Marie Saint. Just a superb cast, wonderful direction, and great script.

Fury was good. Definitely an Anti-war film. Showcases The pointlessness of war and how anyone exposed to war for a significant period of time is forever impacted.
