Even though I do prefer more modern films (which is what I grew up on), I actually rather enjoy films from the '30s, '40s, and '50s. Films from the silent era, however, I find difficult to get immersed in, which is why I tend to rank them harshly.

Oh, I'm glad you've seen Sleepaway Camp! Hilarious, and bloody creepy.

I don't even know May. Unless it's that movie with Anna Faris in a small role.

A decent one I can think of is The Burning. One of my favs is actually from the 70's. I'm a big fan of Black Christmas. Have you seen it?

Oh May wasn't a movie..lol. I ment to type that it may seem cliché that Elm Street was my number one (of the 80s). I Love The Burning. I have indeed seen Black Christmas and I loved it, but it needs a rewatch though. Another really great one is The Prowler. Have you seen that one?

Well, nothing much. It is very similar to My Bloody Valentine, but the killer is really cool and it has some really cool death scenes. The acting is also above that of most slasher films. Nothing really different, it is just a really fun one.

History of Cuba:

Political Climate of Cuba:

Economy In Cuba

Social Life In Cuba

The way you worded that last part confused me. (Sorry) I understood the first art though. It tries to be Lord of the Rings in terms of action, but it's shot from these stupid angles that don't such you in, but rather makes you look away. There's also so much crappy CGI that it looks like a bunch oh ants running across the screen.

I gave Frozen a 3/5. I've got a black heart, so I'm not a person that's into singing. :D I didn't mind Let it Go, though. I enjoyed some of the jokes, but something was missing in the story for me.

I assume you mean Amazing Spider-Man 2? If that's the case, I saw it a couple weeks back. I found the action good, but the story was lacking. I also didn't really like the Rhino character.

Ever since I first became a movie fan Back to the Future had always remained in my top three favorite films of all time along with my number two (scream, despite what my chart may currently say) and my number one (E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial). Now I have seen Strangers on a Train and I may very we'll have changed my mind. Not only have I realized that I appreciate that film more, but I also believe that I truly do like Bringing Up baby more. While I do adore Back to the Future (hell, I adore the damn film) I have finally knocked it off of my top three favorite films of all time, putting it at number five. This has truly been an important day in terms of my history with film!

I absolutely adored Arsenic and Old Lace! It features such a clever premise and script and the dialogue just rolls off the screen! The performances are so likable and charming and it consists of one of Grants best. The old Lady's were so sweet right?

I own The Treasure on the Sierra Madre on DVD, but I have yet to see it yet for there are so many films in which I am planning to see before that particular film.

You really loved the Raid 2 huh?

Did you see this little new film called Guardians of the galaxy? For some reason.....no one is talking about it!

I love every part of Arsenic and Old Lace! So ahead of the times. And yes, the ladies were great.

I recommend The Treasure of Sierra Madre. Bogart's best performance in my opinion.

The Raid 2 just has jaw dropping martial art fights. I can see why the runtime could bother people, but I had no troubles.

Nope, I'll be watching Guardians of the Galaxy in a few weeks when I go see my cousin's play at the Heath Ledger Theatre. I think Guardians is another potential top ten film for me.

I thought everybody was talking about it. Or are you joking? :)

By glossy I mean how all films nowadays are so polished (in a bad way) that they don't even look like movies, but rather they look like a dark YouTube video. Nowadays I can't even use the term film, because the movies of today are not film for they are digital. I just love the look of film...maybe I'm a purist.

Loved everything about Guardians! Characters were awesome, the humour was my style, Yondu is completely underrated, and it visually popped! Oh, the soundtrack was awesome, but I can't say the same for the score. The last big action scene had very generic action music. I wish they had the ooga chaka music over that scene like they did in the trailer.

Yeah! The score really sucked! I also didn't really like Ronin....he was pretty cliche. The film has lost some sort of flare to me mainly because I saw it 4 times and I'm kind of tired with it. I still easily think that it is the best of the year. Being a big music fan, I was pleasantly surprised that Moonage Daydream was is the soundtrack since it is off my favorite album!
