Kick-Ass is by no means a "great film" or "masterpiece" or "classic" or anything similar, I just love it for its entertainment value. I do have some small problems with it,but it is one of my favorite films. Your top 50 probably has more quality films than mine. Nice to see Snatch in there, though :) . And yeah, I love There Will Be Blood, I think it's a masterpiece. Not a film I easily rewatch, but it's a damn good film with great performances.

I absolutely loved The Tree of Life. I should re-watch Thin Red Line, and that's all I've seen from him. I'm pretty much a fan now, so I should definitely see the others

Please don't think I'm saying this against you because I know how much people love Drive and I'm cool with that! I just found most of the film too slow, too boring and the lack of dialogue does build up some atmosphere but at a heavy price. I felt that Gosling's character didn't really have much depth and as a whole, I just wasn't invested in the film. I did however, love the opening chase and the cinematography which was just gorgeous but I couldn't really enjoy it in any other way unfortunately. I'm glad you recently saw Cabin in the Woods. So did I and I loved it! I've been wanting to ask people about Man of Steel and I know how much crap it gets from everyone and I know you didn't enjoy it, but what did you think of the film? Have you actually seen The Godfather Part II because as a fan of The Godfather (which we both are!), I would've expected you to see it. However, Part II can underwhelm you on a first viewing but it really picks up on repeat viewings. I suggest you check it out if you already haven't. :)
That's totally find if you didn't enjoy Drive, that's totally understandable. That movie's not for everyone. I actually did enjoy MoS, I was just disappointed by it. I gave it a 6/10 which means decent for me. I was just hoping for it to be 8/10 (great). Cabin in the Woods was excellent. I gave it a 9/10. Makes me wanna check out Joss Whedon's other work like Firefly.I'm planning on watching Godfather Part II tonight. :)

I liked it, though I expected more of it. Not nearly as good as District 9.
Well I just watched Godfather Part II and absolutely loved it. I feel like I should re-watch it sometime to form my final thoughts on it.

I'm currently halfway through Breaking Bad season 2, desperately trying to catch up before it ends, and loving it. I'm not sure if it's my favorite show yet, because I still really love South Park, for currently running and all-time.
