"I think calling Lost World "terrible" is unfair. Sure it's uneven, some of the characters are flatter than a cardboard cutout, and the weird ellipsis from the island to San Diego is destructively abrupt, but it also has some top-notch Spielberg sequences, like the raptors in the grass. It's nowhere near as bad as "1941" and "Crystal Skull.""
