While the original is my favorite Pixar film of all time, this one didn't quite do it for me. While Nemo was all about the journey, this one is all about the destination. While it certainly tugs at the right emotional heartstrings and has some truly hilarious moments, the pacing was off, and it just took too long for the new characters to shine and connect with the older ones. I'd watch this again for a couple of memorable moments, but...just stick with originals, Pixar. It's what you do best.

It's pretty good, but nowhere near as good as Nemo.

All water is the same. This movie focused more on actions and hijinks than characters. A decent movie but nowhere near Pixar's greatest moments.

Definitely among the not-so-great Pixar movies. It's fun, and has some touching moments, and the characters are still pretty good, but it's miles away from Nemo. 7/10

I was pleasantly surprised with this film. Brilliantly conceived set-pieces elevate this could-be cash-in to a wonderful animation. It jumps the shark a few times, and the first twenty minutes or so are awkwardly paced, but besides that I found myself really enjoying this one.

Better than I expected! I loved the flashbacks and the connections to Finding Nemo. I just found the ending to be really cheesy and filled with quick fixes.
