what a fantastic film. the way that story is told and unfolds is genius and unlike anything I've ever seen. Ogata gives one hell of a performance here. If you liked him, also check out Vengeance is Mine. Schrader is on top of his game here.

This movie is so good that it almost lowers my opinion of "Oppenheimer", because holy shit: 'this' is how you make an unconventionally structured historical drama, Christopher Nolan!
