Hands down the best comic book origin film ever. Also, it's better than The Dark Knight.

One of the top 5 most overrated films of the genre.

I really love this movie its in my top 20 but, i think that the green goblin charcter was a bit underdeveloped. I enjoyed the new idea of a villain not really being a villain but two personalities inside of one person but it did leave me a little bit confused. overall probably an 8/10

Not a huge fan. Spider Man 2 is definitely better, but both aren't amazing to me. This one does boast Willem Dafoe's terrific turn as Green Goblin, and all the web-slinging scenes hold up well. I think the final fight is also quote brutal for the time, so I give that credit. With that said, I think the Romance element is really weak and the effects look cheap, even by 2002 (Attack of the Clones looks a lot better tbh), and Tobey was never my favourite Spider Man, although the memes are great. I do enjoy this film, but I don't love it like some. 6/10 seems reasonable

I saw this movie only once as a kid, but I still had fond, nostalgic memories of it more than a decade later. That says a lot about Sam Raimi's talent for making truly iconic cinema, in my opinion.

Loved it. Old school Marvel beats the new trash anyday

The visuals even out the problems with characters and storyline concepts for a first-class comic book adaptation that impresses more often than not. I actually think this is the best of the trilogy.

The parallels between Peter and Norman are incredibly compelling and fit with the question related to responsibility. It's such an endearing yet also well made movie. Great film
