2018 movie #2: The Post. Uninspired and uneventful Oscar-bait. The first 40 minutes was incredibly dull and the rest wasn’t anything special anyway. Just felt like it was going through the motions. It takes a very interesting concept and does nothing with it. Surely, Spielberg is better than this. 4/10.

Exceptionally good journalism commentary piece; it's got a lot to say about right now, and agreeable or not, it's presented cleverly and with cinematic glee. A thoroughly enjoyable experience both as an American interested in modern times and a cineaste
