Well, as good as the original Ant-Man was Ant-Man and the Wasp is even better. Better action with just as much heart. Marvel keeps hitting home run after home run!

Remarkably witty, funny and pure fun, the sequel wonderfully pays off the original film. Everything flows from character first. Everyone already introduced is fleshed out more this time around. Hope Van Dyne as the Wasp is amazing. It was good to see an old school female lead that was competent and strong yet still very feminine. She saved Scott, Scott saved her and they really had palpable chemistry. I can’t wait to see more from these two relatable Marvel heroes going forward. Same can be said of antagonists the Ghost and Bill Foster. I loved their motivations and introductions this time around. Hank Pym was given more to do and that really added savvy to the overall tone. Louis is awesome as ever! The action and FX were high level glorious yet the soul of the film was its heart and humor. The father/daughter aspects were played to triple gold (Scott/Cassie-Hank/Hope-Bill/Ava) Scott truly proved he is the “World’s Greatest Grandma”!

Takes a while to get going, and the stakes aren't as high as in Infinity War ( not really possible, to be honest!), but this is a very funny sequel with some warmth to boot. 7/10

A very funny and enjoyable romp. Were Walton Goggins used slightly better (and minus a somewhat absurd hairpiece) I'd probably rank it a little higher.

I think if the villain was well done this could have been a good movie.

It's funny but that's it. The filmmaking and plotting doesn't even live up to the first Ant-Man.
