The humor, angst and drama are remarkable for a superhero flick. I can't think of a weak moment in the film, as it is strong from beginning to end. Anyone doubting Chris Evans in the role need worry no more. This easily fulfilled and the exceeded all of my expectations. I can't wait for a solo sequel even though it will be cool to see Cap in Avengers.

Visually it is a sight to behold and that goes for the special effects but also for the time period tone and war grit of the film itself. Every scene was captivating, whether it was full on “Raider of the Lost Ark” action or the developmental down time. Isn’t that what movies are suppose to be about? You can really relate to and enjoy each character. The performances are wonderful.

As has been noted, Captain America combines the thrills of a summer popcorn spectacular with the craftsmanship of a more ambitious picture. Eight of of ten critics praise this for a reason. Most fun I had all summer at the cinema.

Wasn't that great. Roughly a 6.5 out of 10.

Is it me, or did anyone else think Hayley Atwell was really Claire Danes?

Strong superhero film, but it's really in the middle of the pack. Can't hold a candle to the greats like The Dark Knight & Iron Man.

Marvel's best origin movie since Iron Man, and frankly, I like it better than the whole crew coming together for The Avengers. Fun flick.

Not a bad movie, just way too weak and uneven.

The entire Captain America trilogy is clearly the peak and the best the genre has seen and that's saying a lot.
