A surprisingly worthy remake, this is a movie that is far better than it had any right to be.

It's very different from the original. In both, Alex Murphy becomes Robocop, and winds up solving his own "murder", but that's all the films really have in common. The remake blazes its own trail, updating the character successfully for the modern age, while still making just the perfect nods to Verhoeven's film. Each version has advantages over the other.

A very entertaining movie. As a fan of the original I was pleasantly surprised by the different approach taken. A great watch.

this remake is not to bad, the original is still the best but the remake is a lot better then robocop 2 and 3.
