Snyder needs to retire, like, right now.

Well, that was almost a movie. It was either almost one movie or 17 movies, because it sure as hell wasn't just one coherent one.

Definitely a step up from Man of Steel, a highly enjoyable two and half hours.

I don't get all the hate. I really liked Man of Steel. I liked DoJ. DC Comics are darker and more severe. Batman is brooding and vengeful. Superman is deeply conflicted. And while the first 90 minutes was disjointed and overbearing, the film as a whole was entertaining and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Oh, and by the way, The Dark Knight was a 2.5-hour long, disjointed, dark, over-acted film that I also loved. Just calm down, people.

The Dark Knight sure as hell wasn't disjointed or even close to being over acted, are you kidding me?! And it was also dark because the story needed it. In this film, there is no joy. It's numbingly boring and dry for the sake of being dark.

I agree with both of you. TDK is about as perfect as a movie can get. BvS, while not perfect, was still a lot of fun, in my opinion. Both of them satisfy the Batfan in me.

Just awful. My eyes rolled so many times watching this crap that I accidentally went in to REM sleep.

It has its problems for sure, but overall I enjoyed it. Affleck was awesome as Batman.

A huge fucking mess and it's too long, but I enjoyed it. This is NOWHERE NEAR as bad as critics are making it out to be. Affleck nailed it and Cavill was better this time around, but it's just far too busy a movie. It takes itself too seriously and the first hour could honestly use some more choreographed violence. It's frustrating, because if you squint, you can see a hell of a movie here, it's just...a mess. But what it did right, ooooooh boy, did it do it right. Tl;dr - it's a good movie stuck in the draft phase. Go see it for The Goddamn Batman.

It has flaws, but overall I had a great time with the film. Critics are giving this film WAY too hard of a time.

Loved the film not too much rehash of the origins andthere wasnt way to much action great dialog and very dark! better than the overrated Force Awakens and I wish it was longer! I want a Epic not a TV show! most retards with ADHD cant handle this film! cant wait fir the 3 hour version like LOTR

You can't call people retards just because they disliked a horrible movie, that is pretty incoherent, and poor made. But playing your game, some "retards with ADHD" liked this film because there are fight scenes between two loved comic book icons, even though there is no story, and it was even worse than the overrated MoS.

I'm just saying most of the bad reviews just like at the time with the masterpiece Watchmen( which at the time also was considered a "terrible movie" and Too Long) was the Length in run time and the lack of action! I dont get it? I wish it was longer I want an experience not a Made for TV movie! everyone complains about too much action in transformers and then cant understand the social commentary and genius human ideas in BVS ! yes the Film wasnt great on a fan boy level but everything else in a movie production and delivery was great! people are saying that its a terrible film but but then those people haven't ever made a film or seen more than a hundred films as well consider most movies tat are made today are very sub-par as concerned by How enjoyable a film is to watch( the best films ever made on a technical level are not enjoyable or fun! it seems like todays Cinema goers cant handle a dialog filled film or a movie that is around 3 hours but the real knowledgeable and fanboys will go get a special edition dvd with all the cut scenes that stretch sometimes 4 or 5 hours long! and we love it! overall I hate when people throw around the word terrible at movie when history says most "bad" films later become beloved classics and in hindsight people rush to judgement! but yes I regret using the word retard it was wrong im a sorry! but you have to admit (like I saw after the first 7 minuets of the film people were on their cell phones at least 20 of them in the theater) peoples attention span is shit these days and most wouldn't get commentary or lighting effects or even great new camera tricks and looks Im mean they ere literally staring right at the awesome technical marvels and dont understand them?

I'm a huge Watchmen, and the movie was all kinds of amazing. Just like Jackie Brown, I can see that some reviews point that "It's Overlong". Seriously? Those who say that developed cinematic attention deficit disorder. Cuz I cared for the film, and wanted the characters to talk, and act for hours, and hours...
As you've said, there's the fact that people's attention is becoming shit. If it isn't already...
Btw, no worries man. We all go a little mad sometimes.
I really can't see why all that hate for The Hateful Eight, I.e.
It was dialogue filled as well, but it's still was such a experience.
Tsc, Tsc, cinematic attention deficit disorder was even worse than common cold these days.
I'm not meant to watching BvS again, but in fact, mostly of what you've said is SADLY true.
I've got a problem with a few movies length (I have almost no time to watch a 140-minutes movie), but judging a movie by its duration? Pls, if any critic is reading this and you do this, just go again to the movieschool.

Btw, I saw almost everyone that is criticizing BvS for being incoherent, liked TFA.
Yep, Imo, BvS was kinda incoherent, but The Force Awakens wasn't?

This move is cool. Just not great. Would have loved to see this movie with a different director and a little more script work.

It's not's entertaining in some aspects and watchable but for the most part it is an overlong, underwritten, mess. This franchise is screwed if they can't get rid of Snyder and Goyer.

Just a terrible movie. Snyder has no clue as a film maker. It's all about setting up different pretty shots and not about the overall movie, story or characters.
