Brilliant from start to finish. Got to see this one in Cannes, twice, and I've been excited to see it for a third time since then. I recommend everyone see it just to think about the ideas it hands you, agree with them or not!

I want to like this more than I did. I came into it expecting to be captivated by Claes Bang (especially after seeing his sumptuous performance in this miniseries version of 'Dracula) and ended up wondering just what the film wanted to say.

Clearly it's a bit of a jaded satire of the art world. Fine. That works to an extent. Is it also a comedy? Beats me. Most of the laughs I got from this were either unintentional or ironic.

Everything seems superficial. The characters. Their feelings? Their actions.

I just wanted something to 'wow' me and a shirtless man pretending to be a primate didn't do it for me.
