How is that possible? It was brilliantly directed by Fritz Lang and acted by Peter Lorre. The subject matter is so intense and it takes a serious look at disease at a time when nobody was willing to talk about it. It's such a frightening topic and yet Lorre has you wanting to get his character help instead of demonizing him. I thought it was one of the best movies I have ever seen.

It tests our morals I guess. You could either sympathize with the murderer or join the crowd. The ending is so black its unbelievable. It is definitely a good movie, maybe you had too high of expectations. Pretty unique and had a mixed message of which you decided the answer for. Calling it a piece of shit is going too far. You could elaborate with your disappointments if you want to change my perspective on the film if you want.

One of the best films ever made. The storytelling style is very inventive and it's used to this day. The themes are great. M has had one of the biggest influences on cinema ever. It's as important film as Citizen Kane and The Godfather.

This movie is so unique, one of a kind even if it is slow in some parts.
