It's a bit long, but it is beautifully shot and wonderfully acted.

I couldn't even bring myself to finish this one. Found it quite boring and disjointed with its ambitions. It's trying to tell the tale of a rebellious journalist, and an epic love story and it just falls short as a result. One of these would have sufficed, not both. As is, I just couldn't get invested in its story. Like all other Beatty directorial efforts I've seen (Dick Tracy, Bulworth), it's a movie with a lot of ambition that just happens to not be very good.
