Fincher is a pro at movie pacing and atmosphere. I'd love to see him continue with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, but I doubt it will happen.

Gone Girl was amazing. End of the film reminded me of the chilling end to Psycho. Fincher is a genius.

Gone Girl is really good. Good 15 minutes start, messy net 30 minutes, but becomes really chilling and great then. A smart film

I just watched this and I have to say that...
It could have been one of the best films I've ever seen. It was a brilliant satire with brilliant writing, acting and commentary. If it shortened the ending down a little bit then it would be perfect in my eyes. What it says about the media and society are completely factual, one of David Fincher's greatest achievements. One of the best releases in recent memory.

Just as good as the book. Fincher is a modern master.
