A stunning portrait of a disintegrating marriage. Bittersweet with authentic lived in performances by two of the most talented actors in Hollywood Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. The brilliant acting and insightful script makes this Valentine a keeper for this hopeful romantic.

An insanely real-feeling movie, which makes you feel the heart and soul's disintegration of a marriage that has been built on the wrong reasons. Ryan Gosling is sublime.

The movie is about 30 minutes too long and it starts to feel forced toward the end. But the first 90 minutes are so sweet, real, and heartfelt that it is impossible to not like this film.

You know how the movie's going to end, but one can't help but root for this couple right from the beginning. One of the most powerful films I've seen in a long time and truly unforgettable. Outstanding performances from the lead actors.
