Tremendous fun to watch with the kids. Capaldi's turn as the unexpectedly heroic Mr. Curry was a highlight. The story had a bigger-than-expected heart as well. Not just about families being made from love and people needing to be themselves, Paddington being accepted despite his not looking like everyone else, and being an undocumented immigrant from "Darkest Peru," reveal this movie is explicitly about remembering our humanity towards immigrants.

A very refreshing kids movie, that bites off a bigger moral than most. A lot of fun, it captured my 2 yr olds attention and kept the adults entertained. I loved Sally Hawkins and Nicole Kidman, both clearly enjoyed their roles.
