Yep, this is one of the greats, folks. Some of the most memorable lines in the business. And that staircase scene at the end is one of the most iconic scenes in Hollywood history!

A cruel film that has the indecency to indict a woman for the unacceptable crime of growing old and delusional. Its other goals did not function at a high enough level of accuracy to move me.

Gloria Swanson delivers some excellent lines in this one, though her performance is extremely over the top in a few scenes and takes away from what could have been a better movie. Despite of that it's still great, and a shining example of what excellent filmmaking is.
